New Translation

  I had just finished my weekly update and went to pick up Houston.  In the course of thirty minutes he shared these impressive gems straight from the Bible… the Houston Standard Translation, published by Holman publishing.

“If you can’t buy a toy, its better to not even go down the aisle.”  (II Tim. 2:22)

“I like aunts; except when they pinch your cheeks.”  (I Cor. 13:7)

“When you get up on the wrong side of the bed you still have to stay out of the way of evil”  (Ephesians 4:26)

  Hope he doesn’t get self-conscious before I can complete the whole New Testament.
